The 1917 menu is a celebration of both The Ivy’s innovation and tradition, offering a delicious combination of comfort and luxury. For decades, our classic dishes have shared the spotlight with our modern ones, and many have become firm favourites. The menu features a wonderful selection of starters, mains and desserts to choose from and for just £19.17, it’s the perfect way to treat yourself this New Year. 

We know everyone has their Ivy favourites and creating classics has been a treasured part of our story. The 1917 menu offers something for everyone and we’ve made sure that includes our most iconic dishes.  

Our timeless Shepherd’s Pie has rightly secured its place in Ivy history and may well top the list of favourites. We use both lamb and beef to elevate this humble main to something richly complex, layered and the perfect accompaniment to cosy evenings at a corner table.    

The suggestion of adding Classic Frozen Berries and White Chocolate Sauce to our desserts came from a regular customer who had tasted something similar on their travels through Sweden. A simple, fresh, and delightful recommendation. Perfecting the white chocolate sauce however was far from simple. Several hours of experimentation and several mountains of white chocolate buttons later, another Ivy classic was born.   

French Onion Soup has been an Ivy favourite for decades. Timeless, traditional and most importantly, delicious, it’s comfort food at its finest. It’s one of the menu stars and never fails to raise a smile.
